What is Kwd+® ?

Kwd+® is an actinidin-enriched kiwifruit concentrate standardized through Aktinnamics® to >8.000 units of proteolytic activity per gram, as measured by a Pharmactive-developed caseinolytic assay, and > 0,15% vitamin C by HPLC.

This standardized activity profile provides consistent proteolytic performance. Recent research shows that Kwd+® remains active across simulated gastric pH conditions and works complementarily with pepsin to hydrolyze a broad range of dietary proteins, including both animal- and plant-derived proteins. Its standardized vitamin C content further contributes to the nutritional profile of Kwd+®.
